Many women and men are in these overwhelming situations when they come to Foothills Care Center for help. However, their crisis is different in that it’s not the loss of a life that plunges them into desperation. It is the presence of a life - a new life that forever will change their own life. The crisis occurs because they believe the world’s lie that this new heartbeat will cause their own heart to break with the loss of all their ambitions, expectations, and plans. The enemy tries to convince them that ending the life of their unborn child is the answer. Foothills Care Center fights against this deception and overcomes it by faith!

We do not battle against the flesh of these women and men who walk through our doors in fear, but instead we fight in the spiritual realm against the powers of darkness. We overcome and find victory through faith alone, as stated in 1 John 5:4-5, “This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.  Who is it that overcomes the world?  Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” It’s the belief that Jesus is God, he has won the victory, and that no unplanned pregnancy can destroy a life that is rooted in the everlasting life of Christ. This is how we overcome the darkness of the estimated 1,126,000 abortions that have occurred in the past year in our country. It happens through one heart transformation at a time. This is why Foothills Care Center puts Christ central, so that each client has the opportunity to come to saving faith in Jesus in order that they too will overcome all their fears and realize that no longer is their unborn baby an obstacle but a gift!

We are encouraged to keep up the good fight with the words of Paul in Romans 12:21, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
